The SURVICE Story

The story of SURVICE begins in 1981 in the basement of the Maryland home of Nancy and Jim Foulk. Jim had been a leading aircraft vulnerability analyst in Government and industry, and the small business was founded to provide its customers with specialized survivability services—hence, the name SURVICE. It didn’t take long, however, for the company to outgrow its first office and to expand its capabilities in many areas of air, ground, and sea system support.

Now, over a quarter of a century later, SURVICE is nationally recognized as a single-source provider for Government and industry organizations involved in all phases of the systems engineering process. We’re proud to have supported the development, testing, and analysis of many of the major U.S. combat systems in the field today. In addition, we’ve helped create a central repository of survivability-related information and resources routinely used by analysts, testers, and other survivability specialists. Finally, we’ve been able to enhance our support to our customers by establishing numerous regional operations close to major DoD military activities throughout the country.

Although the company looks much different today than it did in 1981, as we’ve grown, we’ve worked hard to retain the original vision upon which the company was founded.
