Survivability, Lethality, Vulnerability Test & Engineering Support
Customer: U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center (ATC)
Scope of Work: SURVICE is providing survivability, lethality, and vulnerability test support at various test ranges.  The services include assisting ATC test directors in all aspects of test planning, execution, and reporting, including document preparation, data gathering, and data management using standard Test and Evaluation (T&E) methodology.

SIN 871-3 - SYSTEM DESIGN, ENGINEERING, AND INTEGRATION SERVICES
Services provided under this SIN involve the translation of a system (or subsystem, program, project, activity) concept into a preliminary and detailed design (engineering plans and specifications), performing risk identification/analysis/ mitigation, traceability, and then integrating the various components to produce a working prototype or model of the system. Typical associated tasks include, but are not limited to, computer-aided design, design studies and analysis, high-level detailed specification preparation, configuration management and document control, fabrication, assembly and simulation, modeling, training, privatization, and outsourcing.

SIN 871-4 - TEST AND EVALUATION SERVICES
Services provided under this SIN involve the application of various techniques demonstrating that a prototype system (subsystem, program, project, or activity) performs in accordance with the objectives outlined in the original design. Typical associated tasks include, but are not limited to, testing of a prototype and first article(s) testing, environmental testing, independent verification and validation, reverse engineering, simulation and modeling (to test the feasibility of a concept), system safety, quality assurance, physical testing of the product or system, training, privatization, and outsourcing.

Performance of Analytical Services Associated with Target Descriptions, Vulnerability, Survivability, and Weapons Effectiveness Studies, and Support to Current Operations
Customer: Joint Technical Coordinating Group for Munitions Effectiveness (JTCG/ME)
Scope of Work: SURVICE is providing analytical services in the areas of target descriptions, target vulnerability analysis, target survivability analysis, weapon system effectiveness and performance studies, data analysis, target disablement evaluation, component damage, warhead lethality, threat modeling, and vulnerability/lethality methodology development.  Specific tasking primarily involves (1) the description and vulnerability of enemy targets to various damage mechanisms associated with conventional weapons such as fragments, blast, conical-shaped charges, linear shaped charges, self-forging fragments, armor-piercing projectiles, high-explosive projectiles, etc. and (2) weapon system effectiveness analysis, including methodology, computer simulation, data analyses, model verification, and validation, documentation of models, systems effectiveness analyses, and database management systems.

Munitions Effectiveness and Target Vulnerability Analysis (METVA)

Scope of Work: SURVICE is providing support in the conduct of independent analyses of Air Force and Joint Services weapon systems, developing and maintaining computer models used in those analyses, and presenting the results in various forms.  This also involves supporting the production of Joint Munitions Effectiveness Manuals (JMEMs), especially with munitions for which the United States Air Force (USAF) is the lead service.
