Regardless of a system's capabilities and performance, the ultimate measure of its worth is how effectively (or ineffectively) it can complete its intended missions. So, whether the system is a vehicle, radar, chem-bio mask, or other system or component, SURVICE is skilled at comprehensively assessing system capabilities and limitations in an operational context and then relating the effects to military or nonmilitary utility. In addition, we recognize that today's missions are increasingly network-centric, often requiring multiple systems to work together to provide overall effectiveness. Thus, we also look at system-of-systems relationships and interdependencies to ensure that the Warfighter and others are always well-equipped, well-supported, and collectively effective.
