SURVICE has pioneered and established system survivability as a formal engineering discipline.
Survivability is at the core of what SURVICE is and does. More than 30 years ago, the company founder, Jim Foulk, helped to pioneer and establish system survivability as a formal engineering discipline. Today, survivability is considered a critical design requirement for every major combat weapon system fielded, and SURVICE provides specialized survivability support throughout the entire acquisition and development process. For U.S. systems, this support extends from program inception and requirements definition to Live Fire Testing & Evaluation and system fielding. For foreign systems, this support extends from materiel acquisition to system exploitation. Our survivability expertise encompasses the full spectrum of threat weapons, weapon effects, and damage mechanisms, whether they be conventional, nuclear, chemical/biological/radiological, electronic (directed energy and electronic warfare), or cyber. And we regularly apply this expertise to a wide variety of air, ground, and sea systems, as well as structures and hardened targets.
