SURVICE is a leader in the R&D of leading-edge simulation and modeling tools for a variety of projects for the DoD and industry, including next-generation massively parallel and heterogeneous computing architectures. Our Applied Technology Operation was accredited as an NVIDIA CUDA Research Center in 2013 to push graphics processing unit (GPU) computing into domains of interest to DoD organizations. We leverage our expertise in core areas such as high-performance computing, ultrafast ray tracing, computer graphics, and scientific visualization to enable new—and better performing—physics-based simulation and modeling capabilities in areas such as radio frequency (RF) propagation, ballistic penetration, computational fluid dynamics, acoustics, and others. In 2014, we expanded our R&D efforts into new areas, including mobile computing and computer vision, and we developed new engineering analysis codes optimized for the Intel Xeon Phi platform. We are actively pursuing R&D in all of these areas. And we continue to publish our research results whenever possible; to serve in various academic, industrial, and governmental communities; and to release selected projects into the open source community. All of these efforts enhance our ability to broaden the impact of high-performance computing in areas of interest to the DoD and beyond.
