September 15, 2015 –Maryland Lt. Gov. Boyd Rutherford met with SURVICE representatives at SURVICE’s Corporate Headquarters in Belcamp, MD, and then toured SURVICE’s nearby Metrology Center. The group discussed several current topics, such as the ongoing Hoverbike development project as well as potential bridge repair work for the State of Maryland. The lieutenant governor previously met with SURVICE representatives at the Paris Air Show in June, where he announced the partnership between SURVICE and U.K.-based Malloy Aeronautics for the Hoverbike project.
Lt. Gov. Rutherford commented that “it was great having the chance to visit SURVICE Engineering Company, a Maryland technology company headquartered in Harford County.”
During the visit, Lt. Gov. Rutherford also visited SURVICE’s nearby partner company, Chesapeake Testing, as well as discussed with SURVICE CEO Jeff Foulk the ongoing fight against Maryland’s heroin epidemic. Mr. Foulk, who also serves as the President of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County, continues to work on the heroin issue with the organization’s Director, Tim Wills, who also attended the meeting.
