Overview of Core Business Areas

The majority of SURVICE’s technical work falls under our four core business areas:

• Studies and Analysis (S&A) – We assess system survivability and performance through vulnerability analysis/reduction, signature analysis/reduction, technology optimization studies, and threat-target interaction analyses.
  
  
• Test and Evaluation (T&E) – We are experienced in all phases of developmental, Live Fire, and operational T&E, including test planning/management, pre-test prediction, data collection and analysis, damage assessment, and reporting.
  
  
• Modeling and Simulation (M&S) – We provide algorithm and methodology development; code design and implementation; configuration management; verification, validation, and accreditation support; geometric model construction and conversion; software documentation; and training.
  
  
• Information Technologies (IT) – We are a central repository and distributor of the nation’s survivability-related technical information.  We also provide database design, application development, web hosting, and high-performance computing services.
  
  

SURVICE uses a matrix approach to combine just the right mix of expertise and technology from across these areas so that we can bring customized and comprehensive support to each project.
