SURVICE Employs Tactical Resupply Vehicle in Support of Marine Corps Training Exercise

A team from the SURVICE Engineering Applied Technology Operation supported the Marine Corps Integrated Training Exercise (ITX) 3-18 at 29 Palms, California, where Combat Logistics Battalion 8 (CLB-8) Marines used a variant of the Tactical Resupply Vehicle (TRV-80) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) to perform unmanned, autonomous battlefield logistics resupply operations by transporting ammunition, water, and rations.  The TRV-80, a scaled version of the larger TRV-300 platform, is a commercial platform from Malloy Aeronautics originally evaluated for tactical applications under a Defense Systems Information Analysis (DSIAC) Core Analysis Task (CAT).
