SURVICE Employee’s Dog is a Participant in Canine Studies at Yale

SURVICE employee Jim Tucker and his dog Millie appear in this month’s issue of Smithsonian Magazine! Millie is a long-time participant in studies at the Canine Cognition Center at Yale.

Millie’s dog mom (Margo) also serves as the Director of Major Gifts within the Office of Development at Yale!

Millie is involved in behavioral studies that investigate not what dogs know or what they think but how dogs think and how they know.

The article states “The dogs are awarded fancy Yale dogtorates and are treated like psych department superstars. Which they are. Without them, this relatively new field of study couldn’t exist.”
