SURVICE employee Bruce Simon attended The AUVSI Xponential All Things Unmanned Conference and Exhibition on August 16 – 19, 2021. With a “Chart the Path to Assured Autonomy” theme, the conference examined issues involving drone and robotics technologies and included a mix of speakers from the U.S. Department of Defense, the Services, and industry. The Malloy Aeronautics/SURVICE-developed TRV-150 was featured prominently in the Army Robotics Modernization Strategy Panel. Many types of drone and robotics technologies filled the large exhibit hall, where the importance of collaboration, safety issues, obtaining public trust, and the rapid pace of innovation was also discussed.
