SURVICE Attends Center for Defense Innovation Ribbon Cutting in Austin, TX

On February 21st SURVICE employees Mike Ray (VP, Army and Marine Corps Sector) and Clark Dutterer (VP, Business Development) attended the ribbon cutting for the new Center for Defense Innovation at the Capital Factory in Austin, TX.

The new center will house AFC’s Army Applications Lab, as well as representatives from the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) and AFWERX, the Air Force’s innovation hub. Entrepreneurs will be able to meet and mingle with the military personnel to discuss ideas and to bring new technology to the defense sector.

Speakers at the event included AFC Chief Innovation Officer Jay Harrison and other DoD innovation visionaries.

SURVICE is a support contractor to multiple Army customers that now fall under the purview of AFC and we’re energized to support technology innovation that gets new capabilities into the hands of warfighters faster while providing optimal value to U.S. taxpayers.
